How to Get Rid of Head Louse

So you or your child has a case of lice, and now you need to find an effective way to rid of head louse .

While researching this subject, you may have found that there are many so called "natural" remedies to cure a case of lice. Fact is however, there really are only 4 basic ways or methods to deal with the problem. Generally, all treatment options can actually be placed into 1 of these four groups.

1. Home Remedies using Food. 3. Bug poison or insecticide based shampoos. Whether you get them from the doctor, locally or from the Internet, they all kill using a poison. These products do a good job if you don't mind using poison on your kids hair. Don't forget all the scratching and itching has probably caused open sores on their heads which is a good way for the shampoo to get into their bodies.

4. Essential Oils. These are all natural and have a soothing effect on an itchy and scratchy scalp. Here is a true all natural way to get rid of head louse that works. This product not only kill the bugs but also help heal the open sores.

So decide which treatment option is preferred by you and your child. Be prepared for the other issues however if you chose a plan that's difficult to use or poisonous. I personally like the idea of using a nit comb regardless of the kind of shampoo you decide to use. It's cheap insurance that everything has been removed from your child's hair and the infestation has been stopped.

As for shampoo type, you can't go wrong using the safer essential oil shampoo products like this one. Getting rid of head louse doesn't need to be difficult but you do need to make the right treatment option choice.
