Head Louse Herbel Treatment

Using a Head Louse herbel Treatment can be a Good Idea

So you or your child has a case of head louse. Not to be concerned though, there are literally millions of people that are infected with head lice every year and thankfully, we have ways to get rid of the bugs easily.

While researching this subject, you may have found that there are many so called "natural" remedies to cure a case of head louse, there really is only 4 basic ways to deal with the problem. There are several insecticide based shampoos that all claim a certain unique property but let's face it, they can all be grouped into the bug poison shampoo solution.

So in the end, you really only have 4 basic ways of treating head louse:

1. Use a bug poison based shampoo. This works but you run the risk of having an allergic reaction to the insecticides used to kill the lice. You also need to be very careful because there are open sores on your child's head from the louse. This is an open pathway for the bug poison to enter their body.

Another problem with these products is that there is some evidence to suggest that lice are becoming immune to the poison. This means more multiple treatments or the use of ever stronger poisons are needed to be bug free.

2. Use essential oil / herbel shampoos. These are the best alternative way of treating a head lice problem. No need to worry about the poison and it works. The only thing about this is that you will probably need to shampoo several times to make certain everything has died and is gone. Not a big deal because the ingredients are safe and effective for use on people.

3. Use a home remedy option. These are the food product method of trying to deal with head lice. Put mayonnaise, peanut butter, grease, etc. etc. on the infected head, leave on for 8-10 hours, try to clean off the mess and repeat if necessary. A poor head louse treatment strategy.

There are many well meaning people who have posted their own personal head louse solution with most involving various food products. The mess and the problems that these remedies offer aren't worth saving a few dollars. What you may save in money, you will end up wasting in time and effort to deal with these messy solutions.

4. Nit comb. If the head louse infestation isn't to bad, it's possible to use a nit comb to clean and remove the lice using just a comb. The bad thing with this is that missing even a single egg results in another infection cycle. It's also very time consuming.

I personally like the idea of using a nit comb regardless of the kind of shampoo you decide to use. It's cheap insurance that everything has been removed from your child's hair and the infestation has been stopped. Get more information on treating head lous.

The absolute best method of treating head louse is a good Head Louse herble Treatment shampoo followed up by a nit comb.
